LETTING EVERYONE KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON IN THE SEGA WORLD
The Southeast Gassers Association would like to thank everyone for the unbelievable support and encouragement during these tough times. With safety at the forefront, we are working diligently to ensure a 10 race championship season for our drivers, as well as our fans.

We would like to make everyone aware that the April 18th race at Shadyside Dragway is officially cancelled. Of course, we plan to be back at Shadyside inNovember, and we hope to see you there in Shelby, NC on 11/7/2020.

We are also strategically reworking this year’s schedule after the cancellation of Motor Mile Dragway’s complete 2020 racing season. Our 8/22 race there is officially cancelled, BUT STAY TUNED for some exciting announcements coming for the 2020 SEGA Championship Season.

Finally, we do ask for continued prayer to God for His grace and guidance for our country and its leaders. Please, take special care of yourself and others as we continue to fight this invisible foe.

God bless
Quain

Cynthia Phillips Racing let me take her car for a spin at a test session today. New Par Race Engines power ran only 8 hundreds off theSoutheast Gassers Association C/Gas record on the first pass.
Might note that the SEGA don't allow driver aids it's all manual, and no 2 step.
Thanks to Saul Rodriguez for the video.
Bobby Bennett is this what you mean about how a heavy flywheel sounds? Even on a pro tree?

LOOKING BACK 8 YEARS AGO TO THE MOST REWARDING PROJECT I EVER DID

After well over a year of begging, Bruce Dehaven and I talked Gene Cromer and his family into letting me restore his old race car that had been striped and setting since 1972. Parts were missing or in need of major repair. At the start I didn't think it would mean anything to anyone but me. But as the project went on I found out Gene was remembered by many. It was over 640 hours before it was in any shape to goback home to Gene and be readied for paint. Once I got the car back to Cromers shop it was disassembled and sent to Chris Harper for paint and body work. Once Harper did his magic applying the original blue color paint it was back to Gene's shop for final assembly. It was really cool at this point to see Gene's friends and family get involved and make final assembly a community effort. During all of this Gene Cromer and Melvin Craft was building an engine for it.There was no way to thank everybody that was involved and donated parts but a special thanks went out to Dennis andJ ohnGlennat Anderson AutoGlassf or interior and glass, Chris Harper for really long hours doing paint and body, David Boles wiring and many other projects.

MANY THANKS TO THE CROMER FAMILY FOR GIVING ME THIS OPPORTUNITY MANY YEARS AGO, I'LL NEVER FORGET. -Quain Stott
