I never went to many drag races until recently. But when we went to the gasser races at shady side drag strip we were hooked. It’s just like stepping back in time with the race fuel smell, the girls dressed in 60s garb and of course the great cars.
I am drawn to the body style of a car and then I notice the paint scheme. Tony Turners car was one that really stood out to me, I just wanted to put it on canvas.
I plan on doing more gasser paintings but I also have a couple of car prints and tee shirts ect..on fine art America.com/martindeem
