BEN HELMS WINS THE SEGA C/GAS MATCH RACE AT STEEL IN MOTION TODAY

A 2 out of 3 grudge race between Ben Helms from Waxhaw NC and Alfred Adams from York SC was set up to show case the SEGA this weekend at the popular event know as the Steel In Motion. Both cars run in the very popular Southeast Gassers Association C/Gas class so the two were perfectly matched. When race time came Ben in his family owned Pucker Time 55 Chevy took the first of the 3 runs. Not to be out done Alfred Adams in the Dammit Bob 55 chevy came back to take the stripe first in a photo finish in the second race. Now with one win each the betting was in full swing by the fans.Both staged readying for the flag start, Both leave together but it was Ben Helms to the finish line first to take the honors home to NC.
